Happy and Healthy 2012 to you! We’re back from vacation and ready to start the new year off on the right foot. Reviews of restaurants we went to and recipes we made over the holidays will be posted soon, so check back soon!
Thanks to everyone who read last year — it was a lot of fun writing for you. Always feel free to e-mail me suggestions on places to eat, recipes to make, and other stores or shops to check out. Since 2012 is evidently the end of the world, I have a lot to cover this year!
Now that the holiday season is right on our heels, it’s time to get the recipe boxes out of the cabinet, dust them off, and decide what you’re going to be making for the 37 parties you have to go to. Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to be sharing some of my favorite appetizer recipes that have gotten good responses from family and friends. Just remember, if you make a good appetizer, you’re going to be on the hook to bring it for years to come (but it’s always good to see people enjoying what you bring, right?).
Speaking of recipe boxes, have you ever tried TasteBook (www.tastebook.com)? It’s a GREAT website where you can store all of your receipes online — you can also upload a personal photo of the dish and share it with friends, family or the TasteBook community.
If you try any of the recipes, let me know if you brought home an empty dish!
